A political scientist and strategic analyst, He is presently the Distinguished Visiting Fellow, CLAWS; Adjunct Professor, NIAS, Air Marshal Subroto Mukherjee Chair of Excellence, USI; He is also the Founder Member & Member Governing Council, CASS, & Member, Executive Council, Allahabad State University. Sen was formerly a Ford International Fellow at Harvard and MIT; Fellow, IISS, London; Jean Monet Fellow, EUI, Florence; and, Professor, Strategic Studies, and Director, NISDA, Pune University (1980–2007). He has been Visiting Professor at Madras University, Gujrat Vidyapith, Goa University, Gorakhpur University and at Institute of Social and Economic Change, Bangalore. |
