Senior FellowContact at: [email protected] About the Researcher :Col SP Das is currently a Senior Fellow at CLAWS. His topic for research is ‘Synergising India’s Defence Industrial Base’. Academic Qualification The officer is an alumnus of prestigious National Defence Academy and Indian Military Academy. He was commissioned into the Army Ordnance Corps in Dec 1992. He has qualified on various departmental and career courses in an exemplary manner, which includes Technical Staff Officers Course, Senior Command and Higher Defence Management Course. He has also completed MMS and MBA (material management). Career Profile During his long career, he has served in various command, staff and foreign assignments to include IMTRAT Bhutan and UN Mission in Sudan. He has tenanted the appointment of AQMG of a Mechanized Division and has been AMS in the MS Branch. He has the experience of commanding one of the biggest regional ordnance depots in the Eastern theatre. Before starting his research fellowship, the officer was posted in the prestigious Complaint and Advisory Board (CAB) in the COAS secretariat. Areas of Interest The officer has active interest in pursuing his research in Indian defence industry. Other areas of interest include personal finance, economy, strategic security issues and contemporary national issues. |
