Contact at: [email protected] About the Researcher :Col Samir Srivastava is an alumnus of NDA, Khadakwasla and was commissioned into the BRIGADE OF THE GUARDS in June 2000. He has served with his battalion in varied locations to include plains, deserts and high altitude areas. He was the Company 2IC of a Mechanised Company deployed in the Democratic Republic of Congo as part of a UN Mission. He has been an Instructor at the School of Armoured Warfare, Armoured Corps Centre and School. He has attended the Staff Course at DSSC, Wellington and was posted as GSO-1 (Operations) of an Assam Rifles Sector Headquarters deployed in Manipur. After commanding his battalion, the officer is now posted as Col GS (Training) at the Brigade of The Guards Regimental Centre. He has recently been awarded the Scholar Warrior Badge by GOC-in-C Army Training Command. |
