Securing India-2014

There is a need to have both conflict prevention measures as well as conflict resolution measures in place, if India was to achieve her rightful place in the comity of nations. While the Indian Army is capable of dealing with conflict situations, steps must be taken to improve justice delivery mechanisms, social and economic equity norms as conflict prevention measures. The seminar also touched upon the need to improve defence preparedness through improved decision-making processes and indigenisation in the defence industry.
